Yes, a $100 deposit is required to reserve your beef, with the balance due at pick-up / delivery.
Once you reserve your grass fed beef and before the animal is processed, Misty Mountain Farm's cattleman will contact you to determine how you want your beef processed. The processor is a custom butcher so they can cut your beef to your specifications. Normal processor charges for the butcher are roughly $1.00/lb hanging weight, but these charges can vary a little depending on how you request your beef be processed.
Approximately 2 weeks after the beef is delivered to the processor, your order will be ready for pickup or delivery - frozen and vacuum sealed.
